    Default sports you love

how about a bit of positivity lads ,the sun is shining

    top three would be ,

1.hurling - fastest field game on earth, the skill levels are unreal and the players live and work amongst us,not in gated communities removed completely from anything we'd recognise as a normal existence

2.soccer - love it but at the high end these days its less a sport and more a game played for money

3.gaelic football - fantastic to watch when a games allowed to flow

honourable mentions to aussie rules ,rugby and baseball

    I like watching tennis.

I like a game of badminton.

When the Olympics are on I also find the gymnastics very impressive. They really are operating at the limits of the human physique.

    Boxing.

Other than that I only watch other stuff every now and again Darts, Snooker, Golf but not all the time. I quite like American Football aswell but its never on.

To play: soccer, badminton, table tennis, hockey, and hurling (pucking the ball about.. i wouldnt last 2 minutes in an actual match!).

To watch: hurling, soccer, rugby union, UFC. I don't like Gaelic, too scrappy and defensive.

In fairness, even shite sports are pretty good if you tune in toward the end of a close match. Last year's Superbowl was class for literally the last 10 seconds, cricket can be really good when there's only an over left and the batsman needs, say, 10 runs.

i'll second that and mention the role the GAA plays in finding work for our immigrants(i got a job out of playing football when in the bronx) and generally being a home away from home for us
