That would never happen and I don't think he would be made welcome anyway.

Yea, he's definitely coming for the Tommy Burns game. Things have changed since he played for us, though... Namely we all know now that his political beliefs are diametrically opposed to those of the club.

Saying that, for the game this is just a friend of Tommy coming to pay tribute, and if he is booed I will be absolutely horrified at the support.

Especially when the day is about Tommy Burns, NOT Di Canio.

Default Di Canio wants to return to Celtic

PAOLO DI CANIO has revealed that he dreams of returning to Celtic as boss.

The former Parkhead idol admitted last night he would love to take over from Gordon Strachan in the Hoops hotseat.

As chief executive Peter Lawwell continues his quest for a new gaffer, di Canio told SunSport how he dreams of landing the job.

The Italian - who returns to Glasgow for Sunday's Tommy Burns tribute match - insisted: "It would be FANTASTIC for me to become Celtic manager.

"I would come back to Glasgow to lead the club. It would be a dream come true for me.

"I know Celtic are looking for a manager. Maybe it won't be for me now, but you never know what could happen. I have my coaching badges and I'm qualified to be a manager anywhere I wish. There are clubs in Italy who want to offer me positions, but not in Serie A, at a lower level.

"But I want my first coaching job to be at a higher level - and Celtic would be fantastic.

"It is a club that will always be close to my heart.

"I left in 1997, but Celtic has stayed with me. If I ever get the chance to be Celtic manager, I know I would do well.

"I was very emotional and passionate as a player - but I know I would have to be calmer as a manager. Who knows? Sometimes dreams can come true."

The 40-year-old Italian was one of the most explosive, colourful and gifted players in the club's 121-year history.

But his lack of managerial experience means he has no chance of landing the job this time round.

Owen Coyle remains high on Lawwell's wanted list, despite claims he has already knocked back the chance to take the job.

SunSport understands Coyle is still agonising over whether to lead Burnley into next season's Premier League campaign, or take the chance of bossing his boyhood heroes.

West Brom's Tony Mowbray, Motherwell's Mark McGhee, Croatia boss Slaven Bilic and Swansea's Roberto Martinez all remain firmly in the frame. But Coyle is first choice - and he will spend the next week of his family holiday in Florida deciding on his future.

He said yesterday: "Nobody needs to tell me about the size of Celtic globally. But there has only been speculation.

"Burnley fans will understand the attraction it would hold for someone like me, who grew up as a Celtic supporter.

"But there has been no approach from Celtic, so I'm not going to get into the realms of talking about something that doesn't exist.

"Everything is geared towards planning for the Premier League next season."

Clarets chairman Barry Kilby is adamant he WILL hang on to his prized asset - and has already offered Coyle a two-year contract extension.

Hoops chairman John Reid insists Celtic will take all the time they need to ensure they get the right man.

He said: "We are considering a number of possible candidates. However, we have made no official approach to any club.

"Clearly, Celtic's priority is to appoint the very best candidate.

"We will aim to do this as soon as we possibly can. But we will also do so in a professional, considered manner.

"It is better to get this right rather than rush it."

Surely him being a nazi would make him unsuitable to manage us ?

    I understand that.

But surely when it comes to having beliefs as abhorrent as he does......

I think common sense pretty much dictates some cunt who does nazi salutes aint welcome at our club.
