The Unionists are a minority in this country.

The British government would give Ireland back tomorrow if they could.

Well, the economy could go either way, worse or better. If it gets worse then that just one more thing to blame on the Brits.

Can there be a United Ireland through the ballot box?

Or will there/should there be a return to the guns and bombs?

    How can it be acheived?

The Nationalist in the occupied 6 counties are fast becoming a majority but in my opinion we wont achieve it by the ballot box because the Unionist would find a way to veto it i.e Gerrymandering.

I believe in a continuous armed struggle until Britain announces its intended withdrawal from my country.

Well if the majority of the people democratically vote for the reunification of their country then yes there can.

Should be an all Island vote as well, as partition was something that was enforced and not voted for in the first place.

Unless someone comes up with a vaccination to cure huns I can't see it happening. I believe every Irishman has the right to bare arms while his county is occupied by Britain.

We're just a burden to the British government. Northern Ireland costs the tax payer billions every year and doesn't particulary offer anything back either. In 1993 the British government actually said N.I could be transferred to the Republic if a majority of the population were in favour of it.

I don't think the Irish government would be so keen on it now or any time in the near future, they have enough problems of their own without taking us on board aswel.

Unfortunately I just don't see it happening in my life time.

there will be a united ireland through the abllot box, wont be for quite a while but we'll get there. the only reason we dont now is throught he sheer stupidity and ignorance of the unionist community, their reasons for a segregated ireland were formed generations ago and none of it applies now.

one of their main fears was living in a country run by priests, which is what we were until the 70's, now go to mass on a sunday and it'll be empty. another reason was the comparitive poor economy in the south, which is no longer applicable.

i just hope i'm around to see a 32 county socialist republic and if the huns object after it is set up we'll shoot them

I honestly never knew that. I actually feel a bit embarrassed to even be talking about this stuff, i've not really read up on it or that and guys like me must piss the Irish off severely, putting our tuppence in but not studying what's actually went on rather just going with what we hear.

But at the end of the day i had 3 Irish Grandparents (1 still alive x) so i do have a love for the country, and obviously i would love to see the powers that be do the right thing. I'll always hold the Irish in the highest regard because unlike my own country yous opposed it from the very start AND never gave up on what yous wanted.
