    Default Craig Gordon

I was the first person to question him back when you were all saying he was better than Forster (lol) and I'm always first to slag him these days.

I'm probably just forgetting the bad moments but I've been looking at people's nominations for save of the season on BBC Scotland and Gordon has made some exceptional stops this year,

He also made a few other big saves in the last derby.

I feel a bit bad for him as I think Rodgers has forced him to play this stupid role that he is obviously not great at.

    Still need a keeper though

He'd be a good back up keeper. His time as our number one is up. We are being linked to some Finnish goalie on a Bosman from Frankfurt in Germany.

    Good saves no doubt.

Maybe if we sign another De Vries to scare him again, he can stay number 1.

He is, for the main, a good keeper though. Just needs to cut out those sudden rushes of blood to the Heid and learn how to kick a ball out to one of our own players.

    I remember this.

The thing with Gordon is that, the attributes that are his better ones, he really is good at.

Like Euskadi mentioned not so long ago. Rogers is wanting him to play this short distribution from the back and portray himself as cool as a cucumber when the pressure is on at the back, like passing the ball calmly when being run down by the opposition etc. Its so we can build our play from the back and retain possession.

All of that is great when it works, but when you make a mistake doing this, it can make you look terribly foolish. Like I said, Gordon is a good keeper and can pull off some remarkable saves at times. But over the last so many months, we have witnessed far too many areas and I think Euskadi may be right in saying that it is the Rodgers philosophy that may be a contributing factor to this.

Regardless of why or who - mistakes are frequently happening now. So it is time we were in the market for a new keeper.
