Whilst we appreciate the challenges a club of this stature does not resign itself to a battle for 3rd place

that's what I said, but if we finish equal points overall then it will come down to the margin of the victory and defeat

That's a nasty one. Our defense is not cut out for this group barring a couple of new signings. I'd take third place in a heartbeat.

Finishing at home to anderlecht is a big bonus, I'll settle for 3rd, win europa and avoid fuckin qualifying next year, like it that first game is at home to psg, hopefully catch them and get a result

I disagree. I would rather we had the home game v Anderlecht first. That way if we win, it would put all the pressure on them to beat us at their place. Now, it's the opposite. Though I think we have a chance of taking points from the first game v PSG. A draw maybe.

PSG will fall apart this season now they have signed the LGBT of football. Celts get second at a canter. Wee Jay on the park and all that good shit.

Anderlecht is far away from what they used to be, so is the Jupiler League. But bloody Munich? That will be two home matches, the Arrogance Arena is a graveyard

That draw for Borussia Dortmund though? Why always Real? That stinks

You won the group last season tbf and Spurs are not that good. I think you will qualify from that group.

Bayern and PSG will beat us and Anderlecht home and away, we might scrape a draw at home against one of them but really it's all going to boil down to our games against Anderlecht. Beat them at CP, draw away from home (or even beat by less) and finish in 3rd place. Drop into the Europa, go on a good run in that and pump Arsenal 5-0 in the final of it

Aye, it has to be a minimum requirement but it'd be good to see us giving the other two a game of it as well. Bayern don't look half as effective as they were under Pep and PSG's defence isn't looking the best - they'll still score a fuck ton of goals mind you but I reckon we could score against them. So a noisy as fuck crowd at Celtic Park, a massive European night under the lights and some of their players bottles might go. Ye never know.

German teams usually have a good record, unless they go to Anfield

Anyway, coming out of that group should be no big deal, it is just the fact, that we always get Real Madrid. Something fishy there

The standard of the EPL is crap these days and their teams results in Europe recently lend to that. Spurs are also at Wembley and they have been dismal there and their record in Europe is not that good.

Like the 6th best team in EPL strolling the Europa League?
