Scotland want Michael O'Neil as our next manager so that suits us.

He'll probably go into club management.

NI's 'success' has been more about the extremely soft draws they've been getting
You've probably not even bought a share in your whole entire life

Was Graham Spiers who said it on Twitter that Scotland are hoping NI don't qualify so they can make their move on him. He also said MO would walk to Ibrox.

He would be a decent manager for them but it shows their level really.

Dunno why he'd want to manage Scotland. International management is for people who can't get a club job

Aye, but he seems to be content with international football and might be concerned his methods would not translate to club football.

Scotland side tonight was really young. Basis of a good squad there for any new manager.

I dunno what his methods are tbh it's not as if NI out-tactic opponents or he gets them over performing or anything. They just get narrow wins against really shit sides. They got to the knockouts of the Euros 'for the first time ever!!!' because the rules were changed to make it much easier to get to the knockouts. They even got one of the easier teams in Wales and iirc went out after a dire game.

I remember when that would actually be an occasion. Shows how much international football is actually in decline. The should scrap the Euros and just have the World Cup.

Too much international football. You can't really scrap the WC.

Friendlies are shite anyway, no matter who you play. Just another occasion to have more injured players, and Borussia Dortmund are very prone there

Dier as engerland captain, what a shite midfield our landlords have got. Germany have more EPL based players on the park than England, the english national team is a joke and will only get worse, when they had Gerrard, lampard, scholes etc in midfield I was often worried they'd win WC or Euros, not anymore, epl is really destroying their national team

They didnt get a single shot on target at home against Switzerland yet O'Neill is meant to be highly rated as a manager lol
